To be honest this is the most common thing that happens to cold water fill washing machine its called cold water disease its caused with doing only 40 degree washes the only way to solve is to change the door seal and do a boil wash every week to kill the cold water disease and keep it away calgon is ok but would not need if you keep doing the odd boil wash week in week out that is for all cold water fill washing machine

Hi bob, have you tried cleaning the dispencer drawer that supplys the detergent to the tub? in some cases over time the detergent holder can collects small amounts of powder that can dry out and stick to the walls of the holder and when the machine is in its spinning stage can sometimes vibrate the dry powder in turn cause the powder to enter the tub also there can be a huge build up of liquid detergent like softners that can form a hard black residue in the holder in turn causing the clothes to collect black paticles. If all is ok then you could try applying a hot wash cycle without any clothes in the tub to flush the bowl from any contaminents, thumbs up if this helps thanks.

Are there any filters that need cleaning and are there any drainage points to move stagnate water ?

washing water is held in the pipe to the wash tub and in the pump under the machine
try using a straight wash (no clothes) with a high concentration of bleach in the machine or other available steriliser
repeat the rinse cycle after the wash has finished to ensure that any bleach is flushed from the drain pipe.

My dishwasher runs through the cycle but doesn't empty. It looks like rice in the bottom when you take the filter out. Could the pump be blocked & how can I repair it. Is it possible to **** out with a...

Unfortunately it is important that the dishes are rinsed before they are placed into the dishwasher as the primary job is to get your dishes sterilized and cleaned.
So please try and remote off as much of particles by showing the dishes to the wash tap or use a wiper to clean off the food particles.
In all machines there are drains to which the drain pump is fitted and there is a filter but if the dirt level is too much the filter and also the drain pump will be clogged.
You can remove the pump and back-flush using a good spray, clean the filter by removing and flushing with brushing.
Once this is cleaned the pump must work and drain the waste water.

E15 water is draining but clothes still sodden,

The problem is your pump or filter is blocked.
Power off the mains. The filter is located behind the silver plate at the back of the machine at the bottom. Four screws hold it on. Drain out all the water. The filter is inside the big black rubber hose attached between the pump and the main drum. Remove the plastic clip holding it to the pump unit and then the metal cir clip holding it to the main drum. Inside is a white molded cone and a big white ball which floats. You will find a lot of junk here, clean out thoroughly. To refit put white cone back inside just as you found it, at the bottom, fit ball back into the cone. Attach to the bottom to the drum and re-fasten the cir clip. Finally reconnect the gator to the pump unit and tighten the plastic clip. Check out the pump too before reconnecting.

Whirlpool clean pump problem

This is from the Whirlpool user manual for the AWO\R 4205 - it tried it and it worked well, found a hair grip and some stones in mine!

We recommend that you check and clean the filter
regularly, at least two or three times a year.
Especially:
.
If the appliance is not draining properly or if it fails to
perform spin cycles.
. If the pump is blocked by a foreign body (e.g. buttons,
coins or safety pins).
IMPORTANT: make sure the water has cooled
before draining the appliance.
1.
Stop the appliance and unplug it.
2. Remove the plinth by using the separator of the
detergent dispenser (fig. .A.).
3. Place a container beneath it.
4. Open the filter but do not remove it completely.
Slowly turn the filter counterclockwise (fig. .B.) until
the water begins to drain out.
5. Wait until all the water has drained.
6. Now unscrew the filter completely and remove it.
7. Clean the filter and the filter chamber.
8. Check that the pump rotor moves freely.
9. Re-insert the filter and screw it in clockwise as far as it
will go.
10. Pour about 1 litre of water into the detergent drawer
to reactivate the .Eco system.. Check that the filter is
inserted properly and securely.
11. Reinstall the plinth.
12. Plug in the appliance again.
13. Select a programme and start it.
