My son thought that the car stereo needed to take coins like a juke box does. i can not figure out how to get the front console off to get to the players

High beam, low beam, or both?

Remove the ring & use a coin to open it

Take the radio out and remove the coins is the first thing i would advise

Under system click on lighting , subsystem click parking lights . Do the stop lamps work ? Turn signals etc.... Which fuse blows ? Also check fuse box diagram under power distribution ,fuse box .to see what all that fuse powers

Detach the negative battery cable (if your radio is anti-theft, make sure you have the code).
Remove the floor console (front and rear retaining screws, then you can probably lift the console over the shift lever if you move the lever to one of the drive positions. I say probably, because Honda says that if the car is an automatic it is recommended that you remove the shift knob by removing the two shift knob screws and pull the knob and the slider. If it’s not automatic, you just unscrew and remove the shift knob.)
Detach the console and lift it out.
Remove the ashtray and the ashtray holder. There are three screws (two vertical in front and one horizontal in back).
Remove the two retaining bolts in the roof of the ashtray cavity which retain the small storage box beneath the stereo (the box and the stereo are attached to one another), then pull out the stereo and the box enough to remove the two screws on the sides of the radio so you can separate the box from the radio.
Unplug the electrical connector from the radio, and the antenna lead, then remove the radio.
Installation is the reverse.

It is located under the dash, directly in front of the center floor console. The easiest way to access is to remove the console, which is very easy to figure out and do. The console is only held in place with about 6 phillips head screws
