A common place for a leak under the machine is the barista seal that goes in the bottom of the boiler around that eject rod. Barista seal part number is MS5002202, Seals on the tamping piston are MS5002040 (there can be 1 or 2 of these piston seals) If fixing the leaks does not fix error 6 then I expect it will end up being the distributor. Give the brew unit a good wash,then lube all the moving parts with food grade grease. If you are able dismantle the brew unit and wash in warm soapy water,this removes coffee and any old lubricant.

I am assuming your machine grinds, then clicks twice, then the brew drive starts but you never hear the pump.
If this is so? The there is a lever at the top center of the door on the right. Pull the lever back 1 click, and try again.
