Hi,

I assume that you are trying to run them from a pc, try plugging them into another sound source like tv headphone socket or a media player to see if any sound is emitted from these, if sound is heard then its to do with your computer. Check your sound output settings to make sure the pc isn't muted or turned down and ensure that you are plugged into the green socket on the back of the pc.

How can I stop my x-530 speakers popping?

Hello,

Right click on the task bar --- then select 'properties' ----- In the task window, click on the 'Customize tab' ----- Now select the icon for your X 530 Speakers and set its status as 'always hide'.

This should avoid the popping up of the speaker icon.

Please let me know if this does not work for you.

Regards,
Aby

No sound after installing the x-530 speakers

To install the driver you use the installation disk that came with the speakers. If you do not have this disk you can go to the Logitech website under the support section, look up your product and download the software/drivers. Hope this helps & please remember to rate my answer. Thanks.

Logitech x530 surround sound speakers sometimes make noise

Hi Nick
As you talk I remember a spair speakers I have a long time ago, brand Creative 5600, has a bad resistor inside the speaker SB, or board, you also check for bad cable at the back or static.
another thing is your volume control, sometimes if you down a few notch you may ...not feel the hit or beep, but check things first.
good luck
