Hi Agynana,

what you need to do is connect your usb drive, then open a command prompt window (Programs->accesories) and in this window type:

diskpart.exe
and press enter

you will be presented with another window similar to the first. In this new window type:

list volume
and press enter

this will show you a list of all drives connected to your machine.

Next type:
select volume *

where * is the volume number of the required drive listed in the list volume section.
and press enter
This will select the drive for the change you are about to make.

type:
detail volume
and press enter

this will list all of the attributes to do with the selected drive, you should see in there that the disk is write protected.

next type:
ATTRIBUTES DISK CLEAR READONLY
and press enter. Once the window has finished what it's doing you can close all of the command prompt windows and your disk should be ready to use again.

Hope this wasn't too long winded and has been of some use to you.

Suddenly my kingston data traveller 128GB shows write protected and does not store any information how do I start rewriting on this usb data traveller Thank you

You may have removed the data pen before it was ready, you may have to try formatting it, If you can still copy off the pendrive, i would remove what you want before trying to format it.
If you google your problem, it is very common, i would advise checking a few forums out first

Remove the write protection on 2GB USB Kingston Data Traveler 100

Found this on Kingston site, doesn't help much but may point you in the right direction.

Unfortunately this unit does not have any security or write protection feature. If you receive a write protection message with this drive, check for the following:
  1. Verify that you are allowed to write to removable storage devices. There may be a security setting in the OS that disables write access to removable storage devices.
  2. Make sure you have not enabled write protection on the drive by using a third party software.
  3. If none of the above apply, the drive may be defective.
