Do you mean de-purged tube or de-gause tube? Image intensifiers are not like CRT where they have a gausing problem. If a spot is burnt into the image intensifier, it unfortuantely is permanent.

If you mean de-purged (gasless), this can be done by a reputable service/repair workshop with nitrogen.

You mean your image intensifier tube lost its vacuum? Toss it. It’s a gen1 tube. It’ll cost three times the value of the scope to repair it.

GE Performance Profile TFX25PPBB Freezer Defrosting

you may have a fault you may not. if the fridge is ok then the freezer is going through an automatic cycle. If the freezer is not working then the fridge will soon follow.
likely faults causing this are; thermistors; worn out compressor motor; degassed compressor/receiver (can become hot and sluggish if lost gas/lubricant mix; dirt around the fan maybe causing it to be sluggish too. make sure you unplug it before touching anything!

After having the oil changed and fuel injectors cleaned by local "experts" the AC compressor won't kick in. How do I fix this? Fuses have been checked & rechecked.

Have you checked that you have AC gas? If 'experts' have been tinkering then its concievable that the AC line was disconected by mistake which degassed your AC system.
