Two-year-old Black & Decker 19"

Two-year-old Black & Decker 19" Lawnhog electric mower won't start when the switch is activated. We've had it out and running twice this spring and it just stopped. We thought it was the cord but the cord tests fine with the hedge trimmer. Is there a reset button or something else simple before we take the mower to be repaired?

If its not in the cord. it may be the brushes in the motor. if they are worn down and not hitting armature. motor will not run. good-day !

I have a morrison mulcher mower and i dont know the part number for the blade and where can i get a copy of an owners manual

Go online if you have a computer and type in Black & Decker 19" electric Lawnhog mulching Mower owners manual. I had good luck finding manuals that you can print right out.

Black & Decker Lawn Hog 19" Mulcing Mower MM875 won't start

The rectifier is a flat plate with 4 posts that attach the electric wiring inside. You will need a flathead screwdriver to remove the four screws holding down the cover on your mower. on top where all the wires run (you will probably see one burned) There is a screw in the middle holding down the plate, you will need to replace the plate and resplice the wires that may be burned.

NEED INDAK 681064-01M FOR BLACK & DECKER LAWN HOG CORRDED

There are a few sellers on ebay for this switch (search for 681064). Some only ship to the USA.
According to some websites, Sears also uses the same switch for their Craftsman electric lawn mowers.

Black and decker mower switch wiring

I have a Black and Decker Electric mower #M2370, which I would like to use this year before moving to a condo. Last year, the mower was stopping and starting depending on how the lever was positioned. I suspected the wiring so I removed the on-off switch lever. The wiring appears intact. Part of plastic inside the lever maybe broken. Can i use the mower without the lever by just pushing the black button?
