Putting Roundup down when raining will not be effective. The toxin needs to sit and dry on the leaves of the plants. For the best results wait for a warm, dry and wind-less morning to spray.

Major water leak when it rains, water runs down driver side floor

Keep looking by covering area at hood etc and running water on the vehicle to locate where it is coming in---Windshield?

This is the best way if you cannot trace the stains from water to source.

'97 Maxima Windshield wiper problems

Check to make sure your fuse is set all the way down first. Could be a bad ground too. Check the wiring at the wiper motor and maybe clean the ground and terminals with either alcohol or electric cleaner and make sure the are dry before you plug it back in. It sounds like a power to the wiper motor issue. If that doesn't fix it your wiper motor may have an internal short.

My 2008 Buick Lucerne Super has a roof leak. The vehicle has a sun roof. Particularly during rains of long duration, water appears along the interior face of the upholstered columns to either side of...

The roof drain hose may have come off

You may have 4,one on each corner

Or they are clogged

Open the roof & look for drain holes to blow out

If the hose is off, you have to remove the sun visor
& any overhead console, to get the head liner down
& put hose back on

My 2003 for escape ...the seat belt light flashes while driving but my seat belt is fastened..i tried to undo it and put it back on but it still did it.

Check under the seat for a wiring harness being loose due to recent cleaning or getting wet with window down during a rain.

Wiper fluid keeps freezing drained all old wiper fluid and put in rain x -25 and it still froze

Rain X should have alleviated the freezing problem assuming that you circulated enough of it through the tubing and through the nozzles before it froze again.

Maybe try to disassemble the nozzle and soak in the Rain X solution or warm water to unfreeze it.

Trace the piping or tubing to the place where the frozen water exists and eliminate the ice by warming it up.

You may take the whole vehicle to a heated garage and let it thaw out, then circulate the fluid by pushing the button or switch to operate the windshield wiper fluid pump.

When it rains hard and there is a lot of wind the rain gets into the chimney and drips through a ceiling light. Is there a chimney cap that I can buy that will eliminate the problem?

Hello,Yes there is a cap for every size chimney BUT that (while always being a great idea) will only prevent a WASHDOWN & keep pests and leaves out.The celing light conserns me that the roof flashing is leaking near the chimney during wind driven rain.Try a cap it can't hurt & I hope it works.

Engine cuts out during heavy rains. This started happening a couple months ago during a heavy rain. As soon as the rain lets up (within mile or two) the engine settles down. Light to moderate rain does not...

If the check engine light is on have it scanned at Auto Zone to pin point the problem. If the check engine came on then went off it stored the code in the computer you can still pull it up.

Engine cuts out during heavy rains. This started

I HAD THE SAME PROBLEM BUT WITH AN ASTRO VAN. THE PROBLEM WAS WATER WAS GETTING INTO THE FUEL PUMP CONNECTOR UNDERNEATH THE VAN, NEXT TO THE FUEL TANK.THIS WAS CAUSING A SHORT, NOT BAD ENOUGH TO BLOW THE FUSE, BUT ENOUGH TO CAUSE THE PUMP TO SHUT DOWN. BEST WAY TO DUPLICATE THE PROBLEM IS TO FIND THE CONNECTOR AND SPRAY IT WITH WATER WHILE THE VAN IS RUNNING. ALSO DO A WIGGLE TEST, THIS IS DONE BY GRABBING THE HARNESS TO THE PUMP AND MOVING IT AROUND, IF YOU HAVE A LOOSE CONNECTOR OR A BAD WIRE THE VAN SHOULD SHUT OFF.
