I would suggest returning this item if possible or perhaps just purchasing a new one. This company has now had the best luck with the sides of their playards locking in place. There was a recall issued for similar models.
RECALL
One child died and three others were injured because the sides did not properly lock in to place.
Although your product is not specifically listed and this does not technically "solve" your issue I felt it worthy of note here.

How do you lock an Avalon on the move series playpen? Where do I get instructions?

  • These playpens have a safety feature.
  1. First thing is to make sure the center of the playpen is up in the air.
  2. First lock the short side rails. They will click into place.
  3. Now lift up and lock the long set of rails.
  4. Now you want to push the center piece (floor) down all the way.
  5. Now your playpen is set up.
  6. When you go to put it up you will pull the floor up first and then release the side rails.
  • Hope this helps and thank you for using FixYa.

Regards, Tony

Cant lock the end rails of the porta-cot, the two side ones lock in fine but the end ones just fold back down. Its a Jeep Sahara Limited XT playland.

Before you lock the bottom of the playard, you need to pull all the way up on the two side rails, they will form a slight arch, and the button will click into place. Then push down on the bottom rails.

How do you put up a graco pack play

Hi, to set up the pack and play, first latch each of the four sides together. (Each side rail latches together in the middle -- just straighten the rail.) Once all four sides are locked and straight, push down on the center of the pack and play bottom (it's probably red) until it snaps into place.

To fold the pack and play up, just follow these instructions in reverse -- pull the bottom up first, then press in the button on each side rail to fold up each side.

Always make sure the pack and play is completely set up and locked before putting a child in it!

How do you set up a pack and play?

Open it part way but do not push the center of the bottom all the way down. Raise each of the side rails and make sure they lock in place in the full up position, When all four side rails are locked in place, push the bottom center all the way down until it locks. Put the the bottom pad in place and secure it with the velcro tabs through the opening in the sides.

Phaser 860 maintenance tray A stuck

1. The Maintenance Drawer will not come out. - Often times this can be overcome by waiting 2 minutes for the ?Hot Ink? timer to expire, then remove the Maintenance Drawer. 2. If the printers Maintenance Drawer is locked in place and can not be removed and there are no cleaning functions currently taking place then the Maintenance Drawer can be unlocked by removing the right side cover and move the Cap/Wipe/Purge belts evenly down to the home position. This will raise the sensor flag from I/O Left and disengage the locking pin that is preventing the Maintenance Drawer from being removed. 3. If either Maintenance Drawer Guides (Blue Plastic Rail guides) have been replaced or removed and reinstalled and this is preventing the proper insertion of the Maintenance Drawer then check on the outside of the chassis frame that both rear locking tabs for the rail guides are protruding through the printers frame and are properly seated and notched into place. ? If they are not properly installed and seated then remove the rail guides and reinstall and then test for proper insertion and removal of the printers Maintenance Drawer. 4. Obstructions or spilled ink (wax) may be covering the Drum Maintenance rail guides and preventing the proper insertion or removal of the Maintenance Drawer. ? Check the printers Drum Maintenance Rail guides for any paper scraps or spilled ink or leaking ink from the Printhead. Make sure that there is no spilled ink under the Maintenance drawer waste tray and that it is seated properly. TROUBLESHOOTING TIPS AND HINTS: In order to provide more clearance when removing the printers Drum Maintenance rail guides, use the X-axis gear to move the Printhead away from the drawer guide that you are removing/installing. Also raise the Cap/Wipe/Purge assembly to reduce interference. When a drawer rail guide is mounted, double check its rear locking tabs where they go through the chassis side frame. Both blue tabs should be visible on the outside of the frame of the printer.
