I just purchased a Diesal Watch DZ7211 and the manual that came with the watch does not have the DZ7211 in it a all. So I went back to the store that I purchased it from (Graffitti's in Key West, FL) and was told that was the only manual that he had that was given to him with the watch. So he e-mailed the company and ask them to send him the correct one and had no response from any one. My husband loves the watch, but it does no good without the manual to know how to set it ect. I wish that someone would please stand behind the product and get us the correct manual. Sad to say I would have never purchased the watch if I knew that I could never set it, ect. What good is it then. I would hate to send out messages about this watch to detour people form purchasing it if I don't get someone to get back with me on this problem. Can you please help me out and get me the correct manual??? Thanks in advance for your help1

I have this watch as well, and LOVE it! I got this from Diesel's Customer Service. There's not much to it, but it IS the correct manual. Enjoy! =)

Go to http://store.dieseltimeframes.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ContentView?storeId=33053&page=instructions&catalogId=21503&langId=-1 (click on this link or copy an apste it into your search engine) and you will see a page of diagrams and watch models to which the instructions apply.

Your watch is G1 and G3, so you should scroll down the page (quite a long way) until you find the instructions for your watch. This seems to be a comprehensive guide.

(Their main web site is quite useless as I'm sure you have already found but I managed to find another way to find their instruction list. It is strange that this is not linked to their main web site!

The watch is no longer operating and does not seem to have a place to replace the battery

any watch store had their own service center for that their costumer will not have problem on replacing its battery, so that the costumer would not be dissapointed that they have a watch that had no service center and think that watch is disposable. for the plan that a customer will came back to purchase another watch from their store. Now, you can bring it to the shop from where you purchased your watch. or if you purchase it from other country you can ask any watch store if they servicing any brand of watch or will they recommend a service center nearby. i hope this suggestions will helped you a lot.

I recently got this watch as a gift. I went to the store with the gift receipt to get watch sized. The jeweler removed a two links, and it fits perfectly. Last week i noticed that the watch fit a little...

The jeweler is responsible for anything he is selling, and has to make right. If he can not fix the problem, you have a right to a exchange. If he refuses to deal with this especially with warranty then it time to contact the manufacture at www.michaelkors.com for customer support and ask for technical assistance. They will not be happy if a representative for the company leaves a black mark against them. One further thing if you have a phone number listed in the watch manual this may speed things up, good luck.

I have a pocket watch i bought in paris but the battery ranout and i cant get the back off to get the battery out. what should i do?

Hi Josh, I do apologize for the inconvenience. Please try the below steps which should be helpful for you to remove the back of the watch and also replace the battery.
  1. Flip over your pocket watch. Remove the back of your watch. The back of watches are either screwed on by four small Phillips head screws (unscrew them) or the watch has a press inserted back (slide a thin knife blade under the edge of the back of the watch and pry it off).
    (OR)
Find the small groove on the back of the watch right above the hinge, place the tip of the screwdriver (the small kind used for the screws in glasses) into the groove and gently pry off the back of the watch.
  2. Remove the circular watch battery out of the back of the watch.
  3. Take the battery to any department store or watch store and purchase a new replacement battery.
  4. Insert the new battery into the back of the watch.
  5. Screw on or push on the back of the watch. Set the watch to the correct time.
The above should be of help for you to have the battery on the pocket watch replaced and have the watch working once again.Best wishes for your effort and thank you for your time and patience.

We bought the Fossil Brown rectangle watch model FS4284, it stopped working so thought it was the battery. we replaced the battery and then 2 months later it's not working again, faulty battery or is...

  • Change the battery. If your watch stops ticking, chances are the watch is not broken and the battery simply needs to be replaced. You can purchase a watch battery at your local department store or drugstore. Use the screwdriver to pry the back off the watch and place the new battery in the same place where the old one fit.
  • Step 2 If your watch is still not working, determine the problem. If you can hear the watch ticking but the hands are not moving, there may be a gear stuck inside. If only one of the hands does not move, the hand itself could be broken. Once you determine the problem, you can see whether it makes more sense to purchase a new watch or get the old one fixed.
  • Step 3 Check your watch warranty. If your Fossil watch came with a warranty that is not yet expired, Fossil will fix your watch if you send it to the company and pay for shipping and handling. See the "Resources" section below to fill out the Watch Repair Form provided by Fossil.com. If your watch strap is broken, however, Fossil will charge you a fee as broken straps are not covered in the warranty.
  • Step 4 Check a competing local watch repair store. There are watch repair stores located all over the United States that will repair a Fossil watch if your watch is no longer under warranty or if you do not want to pay the shipping and handling to send the watch to Fossil's watch repair department. Although the watch repair store may not have the exact strap you are looking for, it may offer a replacement strap that is similar to the one that originally came with your watch.
  • Step 5 Return the watch to the store where you bought it. If you purchased a Fossil watch that was broken when you purchased it or broke recently after you brought it home, you may be able to return the watch for a refund or store credit. Check with the store's policy before purchasing the watch if you are concerned about returns.

    Watch not charging?

    Hi there.

There are two types, A kinetic rechargable one, and a solar one.

Just check it is the solar one!

Try wearing it for a day and see if there is any change at all.

If it does nothing, there may be a fault with the rechargable battery. If so , it is cost effective to have this repaired.
