Stolen Catalatyc converter

I'd really suggest that you get some new keys. If you have your VIN info your dealer shouold be able to help you. Bypassinf the smart lock is an invitation to having the car stolen.

someone stole the alarm ?? you jest ,anyway the problem is the feed connection or they took the fuse out to to silence the alarm so it could be nicked

the converter is located on exhaust system under rhe car about just under pass side door but more towards the middle of car. you should see a round pipe that has a heat shield under and around it. it's about 2 to 3 feet long and has welds or clamps on each end.hope this helps!!

Could have crossed wires and blown the fuses. try isolating and electrical taping the wires and then go through your fuses and replace the blown ones.

Somebody stole your cat, it was a big problem last year because they were worth more to the scrap dealers. They have dropped in value a little, but when you consider the elements they contain are worth over a thousand dollars an ounce, you can see why they are a target. You will probably get the best deal by taking the vehicle to a muffler shop to have an aftermarket cat welded in. The cost should be about $250. To have a new factory cat put back in, the cost could go over a thousand dollars. Some insurance companies will cover this loss.

Sounds like you or the punks that stole your radio crossed a wire and caused a short. Check your fuses

hummm, lets see here. you had plug wires stolen and you put new ones back on the vehicle. sounds like you may have gotten the firing order out of place. for a 4cyl the firing order will be 1-3-4-2. so as you look at the distrubutor, # 1 cyl should be going to the plug closest to the drive belts. and then 2 next and so on....

the way to tell where #1 cyl on distrubutor is.. "bump" over the starter until you see a white mark on the belt pulley line up with the marker on the timing belt cover. when you get that done. remove the distrubutor cap and look at which plug wire i's pointing to... it should be #1.... if not you have a firing order problem, (check all other wire orders... ) start with that plug wire being # one and then next (don't remember which way this engine goes clockwise or counter clockwise) but make sure the next in line is 3, and then 4, and then 2..... got it? ...... good luck and hope this helped.
