I had the typical issue with the ice maker on my electrolux french door fridge. The kit to fix the issue was installed but after the tech left the fridge reported a "ice t3" error. A new thermistor was installed but again the fridge reported a "ice t3" error. Any advice?

It would need to be checked at the main board to see if the sensor is ok. then the wires need to be checked one by one from the sensor to the main board to see if there is a problem with a wire inside the cabinet (non repairable).

SOURCE: ice formation. double door electrolux fridge. not cooling

If there is ice built up on the inside back wall of the freezer, you have a defrost problem. Take the panel off, use a hair dryer to defrost. If you know how to use a meter you can check the heater and termination thermostat. One is most likely bad. If you cant use a meter. Put panel back on and plug fridge back in. It will work fine for around three days. This will give you time to get the part or someone out to fix and you will not loose your food.

SOURCE: Electrolux EW28BS71IS French Door Fridge no water and no ice

First check that you have good water pressure to the water valve. If you do, then the problem is in your refrigerator. And the most likely fault is the solenoid controled water valve which is a one in two out valve. Follow the water line from you house input and the first place it connects is that valve.

LG French Door Refrigerator Error Code 15

My problem was similar to yours and my lg refrigerator model number is: LMXS30776D/02, I followed the steps like you with no luck. I just fixed mine last night and it's a pleasure for me to share with you my experience. As I was trying to figure out what was wrong with my fridge, as I was shaking and lifting the left front door of my fridge I noticed that the error code E: 15 disappear on the display. As we open the door back and forth for normal use,the error E: 15 comes back again. From that,I realized something wrong with the left front door of the fridge. I ordered a new left door, It came in yesterday, I installed it last night and everything works beautifully in my fridge, no more code what so ever. as a result, if you are experiencing the same problem, most likely you need to think replacing the left door of the fridge.
Let me know if this help.
Thank you.

How toRemove ice maker from Electrolux refrigerator

Good Afternoon Friend,

I understand you are trying to remove the ice maker out of your Electrolux refrigerator. Typically, this is not a do it yourself job, as there are no step by step instruction manuals for this. I suggest contacting your local authorized technician for further assistance. They have been trained on your particular appliance, and should be able to remove the ice maker with ease. Hope this is helpful.

-Best Regards-

Fridge makes knocking sound. it sounds like it is coming from the ice maker. Is this a common problem and how do I fix it?

Ice maker could be stuck with frozen ice on the rotator look over and if you see some turn ice maker off and use hairdryer to free up

Brand new french door maytag refrigerator makes a loud knocking sound off and on all day. Is that normal ?

im sorry to tell you, but the sound is probobly normal.
fridges these days make some weird noises.
they started making noises when they changed the gas to R34a.
you may be able to get a noise ruduction kit for your model. they are not too fun to install

Jenn air french door refrigerator broken by repair company

yes a 3 in one kit is primarilly used on older fridges that use the old freon(r-12) and sometimes needed a start cap to make them work.the newer fridges use a different freon(r-134a)and require a run cap to make them work.placing a start cap on a compressor that needs a run cap WILL DESTROY THE COMPRESSOR.the factory may or may not cover the repair.i would be on the phone with the company that installed this device and raise cain.i have been in this trade for some time now and am still amazed at the really stupid shortcuts that some companys make
