If there is ice built up on the inside back wall of the freezer, you have a defrost problem. Take the panel off, use a hair dryer to defrost. If you know how to use a meter you can check the heater and termination thermostat. One is most likely bad. If you cant use a meter. Put panel back on and plug fridge back in. It will work fine for around three days. This will give you time to get the part or someone out to fix and you will not loose your food.

pull the ice tray out, on the bottom of the left side there's a metal rod that needs to be repositioned into the tooth gear.

sounds like the drive in icemker head is bad and not turning the timing wheel . the timing wheel controls the harvest and the water comming in ect . best to replace the icemker with ther kit . come with instructions . mm hope this helps . if more info needed i need the model # and ser of your unit .. feed back pls ..

First check that you have good water pressure to the water valve. If you do, then the problem is in your refrigerator. And the most likely fault is the solenoid controled water valve which is a one in two out valve. Follow the water line from you house input and the first place it connects is that valve.
