My pen drive does not open.When i click the link,i get please insert disk as a message and unable to open the contents.However the light on the pen drive is on and also i am able to stop it and remove safely
Have a 2gb transcend pen drive.till now it was working properly but now wen i try it says insert an drive into I.the light is glowing and it is getting detected.But i am not able to read the data.anyone can please help me.

Most probably the semiconductor chip inside the pendrive is damaged well i dont know the actual reason for it. It's best to get it replaced if it is within the warranty period. I had the same problem i got it replaced, as not even a month had passed after my purchased date.

I have two of the same pen drives and the other 1 is opening.
Also i checked that the driver software is upto date
the light is on and i am able to stop and remove safely but i cant explore the contents.the properties for the removable drive says that 0 bytes have been used.Basically windows is not recognizing the pen drive

I put the pen drive into the USB hub,it does not autoplay(i have another pen drive of the same make and it opens automatically).I go to My computer and see an icon which says "removable disk" for my pen drive.When i click on it,it says please insert disc into drive "whatever".I am able to stop the pen drive and remove it safely but i cant do anything else including reformatting,opening, exploring or anything else

I have Transcend 2 GB pen drive. Sysyem detects the device & my Antivirus is able to scan it, but I'm unable to open it. I got error maessage, asking insert the disk.
Dear sir when i m using xp sp3. i have a transcend 2gb pendrive.few days back when i copied some documebts into it and check it in the same computer but as i insert it into another pc the pendrive opened but showed somethin lik this(00000000000000000). i just confused wat happened.
now another problem occured my pendive is not even opening.when i double click it opening my computer it showed a message "please insert a disk ino drive H:.i hav tried to format it from windows ,even also from cmd promt but all in vain ..
