Try the following, (may work)

To manually select the network operator to use for data connections
You can also manually select your network operator from Connection Setup's
settings screen. Connection Setup will then reconfigure your device's data
connections settings based on the operator that you selected.
1. On the Home screen, slide to the Settings tab and then tap All Settings.
2. On the Connections tab, tap Connection Setup.
3. Select the network Country and Operator you want to use, then tap OK.
Note If you choose a Country and/or Operator that is different from the installed SIM
card network operator, you may not be able to access network services.
4. When prompted to confirm whether you want to configure the data
connection settings based on the selected network, tap Yes.
Connection Setup configures the data connection settings.
5. After the Connection Setup completes the configuration, tap Restart.

Hi. My At&t Cordless 2 Hand set Telephone (EL52213) Answering machine (ON) doesn't record incoming messages. The Message window shows 0. The Telephone base is connected with my FAX machine (Teleph

If your Phone service is recording messages, that disconnects your line. You need to have them turn that feature off, OR set the answering machine to answer is less rings, say two or three. If the FAX machine listens to the line, it can still be set at a higher amount of rings, say four, and should still answer any FAX signal as it's sent to the answering machine.

Internet will loose connection frequently but without error msgs.if i try to refresh it will bring up the page but theres not any transfer of data. The only way is to disconnect then reconnect. i checked...

ok, first, see if the connection is a problem with the modem or the router.
1) find the average time in between disconnects.
2) disconnect the cord plugged into the "internet" port on the router.
3) plug that end of the cord into your computer.
4) now power off the computer and press the reset button on the modem (the box that your computer is now connetced to)
4a) if there is no reset button, unplug the modem for 30 seconds.

5) start up the computer and have wait for the computer to disconnect.

if it does, the problem is with the modem.
if it do not, its your router.

now to fixing it.
the easyest thing would be to buy a new roter or call your isp to bring you a new modem.
although, if you want to do it yourself (which may be a bad idea if your bad with tech.) then keep reading.

modem: find the defult ip for the modem, this will be on a sticker. if it is not, just google the model number, and you should be able to find this. check your signal strength as well as signal to noise ratio, call your isp and make sure this is normal. if it is not, they will have to replace your router... if they say its abnormal, make sure your not connecting through a split cable (as in you have a 'Y' split in the cable). your isp should do all this for free though.

router: periodic connection drop is rare for routers. it could be caused by a new ip address connctiong that has a conflict with a previous one. make sure you have DHCP turned on, and set your computers to automatically assign ip addresses. if that doesnt fix it, update your firmware (or if you have a linksys, do your self a favor and flash it with DD-WRT) if that doesnt work, its a hardware problem, and you should replace the router.

If you connect the computer directly to the modem, does it work?
If that works then the modem is working.
Now connect the computer to the router and the modem to the router.
You will need to open the set up page of the router to check the settings of the router.
You can set up the router without the CD also.
It is very easy.

Modem problem

Disconnect the phone line from the modem and connect a normal phone to this phone line. Lift the handset and check it you have a dial tone and see if you can dial out.
If you don't get a dial tone then there is a fault with the phone line and it needs to be repaired before you can use your modem.

I had the same problem but now i have found the solution for it. Its not the software its the phone. Go to your Phone Settings hit Connectivity and then Usb Connection select Data Service and now connect your phone to the pc and select connect in Mobilesync and it should work. After you are done using MOBILE SYNC you can simple go in settings once again and choose mass storage for any downloads!!!
