Increase the page file size to double which can be done from computer properties(system) -- advanced tab, open perfomance settings -- advanced and in virtual memory assign a higher value for each partition. Restart computer for them to take effect

I have created an "accountants copy" in error. However, now I am unable to do certain tasks. I need to delete this without losing anything. HOW? Please help, would not want to lose my job over this.

Hi, By the sound of your question, I'm assuming that you're talking about Quickbooks. The Accountant's copy isn't intended to be a full function copy of the company file. It's a copy that's good enough for financial review, not full-function operation. If you want to have all functions, you'll need to open the original company file (ending with .QBW). It would be the file that you created the accountant's copy from. Once you find the original company file, verify that you can open it, and once you've found it - you can delete the Accountant's copy. As long as the original company file isn't touched or damaged, you should be fine.

Copy or drag to CD give a error message

What is the error messege?

One thing that can cause a failed CD burn is the IMG file in a user's temp file.

Left click Start - Left click Run
Type %temp% and hit enter

Find a file that will have img_1 on it
This is the file that windows uses to burn files on your CD - it acts like an image place holder. Right click on it and delete that and see if that resolves the issue

File copy error.

maybe your drive is already full, if your drive is already full try to delete the temp file or delete your unnecessary files, if not try to check the file that you are trying to copy, maybe there some associate file which have a long file name, try to rename it but copy first the original file name to notepad, and after copying rename again your file that you renamed before, if still not tell us what kind of file you want to copy.

Power calibration area full

There are many facts cause "Power calibration area Full" error. First of all clean up your TEMP files. Make sure DVD media you are using is supported by you DVD Writer. CDs are rather easy to write. DVD requires more precise laser beam to channel as its more dense than CD. So physical facts like dust on the lens might be a factor too. Also firmware update for your DVD Writer will be a great step. These are the main factors.

Good Luck
