My fax model is L-800, and is not receiving or sending faxes.the memory LED is on and green in colour. what could be the problem?

If you see an error message telling you that the product's fax memory is full, try these solutions:

• If you set the product to save received faxes in the product's memory or inbox, delete any faxes you have already read.
• If you set the product to save received faxes on a computer, turn on the selected computer. Once the faxes are saved on the computer, they are deleted from the product's memory.
• If you set the product to save received faxes on a memory device, connect the selected memory device containing the save fax folder to the product. Once the faxes are saved on the memory device, they are deleted from the product's memory. Note:Make sure the memory device has enough available memory and is not write protected.
  
• If the memory is full, try sending a monochrome fax using theDirect Sendfeature or sending your faxes in smaller batches.
• If the product cannot print a received fax due to a product error, such as a paper jam, the memory full error may appear. Clear any product errors, then ask the sender to resend the fax.

As the model is not mentioned its difficult to right solution. But in general when a document sent from memory some times this happen. This is frequent if memory recieved is more and not printed.
Its cleared on printing all memory recieved or memory cleared(all received fax will deleted).
Also sending fax manually may be done.I.e.Dial the fax no.get the fax tone load the document press start or send. Also in setting the scanning resolution may be minimised up to150/200dpi for less memory.

Hi, i think your fax machine works fine, A "no response" message indicates that the receiver should accept your fax by hitting on the start button (normally its a green button) for you to able to send a fax or if no one in your friends location is receiving it. In this case you might as well set your fax machine to auto receive fax, defends on your fax machine's model. i hope this helps.

its the problem of your LED'S strip may be one of the LED is not working.It lights up green in color & its located under the top cover from where you send fax copy.

some new fax machines has, fax memory older models dont, so if your fax machine is old. the fax has been lost, because when printing is one time (dont preserve on fax memory, only the comunication numbers. try talk to your fax senders send again a fax copy,

YOUR SCANNER LED LAMP IS DEFECTIVE. IF ITS NOT UNDER WARRANTY YOU SHOULD JUST PURCHASE ANOTHER FAX

if there are "empty toner"
the printer not print received fax until cartridge replacement.

We switch our off, wait 10 seconds, switch on & fax is printed. We don't think we have lost any faxes this way but be aware it might happen.

we have this machine! all you have to do is hit the green button and they will print out!

Only one sender, or all sender's?

Unplug the machine and replug. If it has an OUT button, make sure it's lit.

scroll down to SHIPMENT SET
press set
