My phone is starting to beep constantly while I'm speaking, and then goes dead after about 15 minutes of constant beeping. Is this a battery issue, or is this a intenral phone issue?

Can you confirm the maker and model # of your device? I cannot find a KT-TG30336 from Panasonic.

all of the cradles that hold the phones are chargers for the phones
batteries will last more than 1 hour in use and for more than 1 year in constant use and recharge after every use
I doubt that the phone is the problem but more of a service provider problem shutting down the line
there is a uniden technical division on their web page and I suggest calling the service provider and asking what is happening with the line

The car's built-in phone seems to work well, but the handset beeps every few minutes with another 'request'.

you should try a hard reset press *2767*3855#

your battery might need to be changed. even if it has a full charger it might not be able to properly charge you phone.
try a new battery.

When misplaced in the charger the xg2200 beeps, are you sure the phone is placed correctly? please let me know. Good Luck
