This could be caused by a few things. Make sure your cable it plugged into the Router and the Network on your computer. Also make sure there is a green light on the Router and your Network card, if not you might have a bad cable. Swap out your cable first to ensure the simplest fix is tried first. Also try another network plug on the router (If you only have one plug, go to the next step)

If your still having issues, try to replace the network card on your computer, this is probably going to cost around $10 - $15 at most.

If you are still having issues you will want to replace your router.

Its always show at the the monitor the " A network cable is unplugged".

If you are connecting to the Internet using a wireless connection and your LAN card in the computer does not have a LAN cable connecting it to a hub or router then you will get a message "A network cable is unplugged".
If you don't use a wireless connection and you only connect to the your network/Internet then the problem is either the LAN cable has come loose in the computer's LAN card or at the router or the LAN cable is faulty.

Network adaptor

Are you inquiring on whether a network adapter can be replaced? Upgraded no but replaced is yes. As long as you have an open slot on the motherboard you can replace or put in a new network adapter.
As for the network cable unplugged try changing the cable first. Secondly where is it connected to? Also is your existing network adapter built in to the board or is it a separate card

Please respond if you have additional queries
