The notification lights indicate:
Blinking Blue - Bluetooth On
Blinking Yellow - WiFi On
Blinking Green - GSM (Phone) On
Blinking Red - Unread message
Continuous Red - Charging

Blinking green when your GSM (phone) is on is the expected behavior.

SOURCE: O2 xDA Atom Exec Screen Blank After SofReset

Couple of things you can try to fix the issue, firstly try a hard reset

To perform a hard reset, use the stylus while pressing into the reset hole, press the power on/off button at the same time. Screen will prompt you to press the Green call and Red end call button together to confirm on hard resetting the device. *Note: Hard resetting the device will cause the device to be reset back to its original factory default settings and all data will be lost

Try that and if it doesnt resolve the issue then we can try another solution

SOURCE: My O2 Atom life got dead bootloader.

I'm not using an Atom Life, so I don't have the flashing files for your device. But I think these links will help you a lot for understanding the process. First link is exactly for your device, I got it translated from russion to english by google, second is from a very good source, xda-developers. And the last one is not Atom Life but it is close so the pictures can help. You'll also need a JTAG cable. I hope this helps. (Because the only other solution than this is replacing your mainboard which will cost you around $300-$400) (http://translate.google.com/translate?prev=hp&hl=en&js=n&u=http://pda2u.ru/forum/topic338.html&sl=ru&tl=en) (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=336278) (http://xdaflameusers.com/viewtopic.php?id=703)

I found some good information on this site: http://www.ling.upenn.edu/~kurisuto/phone_wiring.html.

He lists that the old style wire has become obsolete, and shows a diagram of how they line up to the new style.

While charging my O2 atom exec, the LED (Flash light) does not glow red ?

I have the same problem. What I did several time is to actually shut down the phone, remove the battery and leave it like that for several hours (3 to 4 hours). Then, I put the battery back in the phone, and it would charge again. However, due to the long time with no battery, the phone's clock would be reset to January 2007.

I found no other work around right now. However, I have to do this more and more often, almost once a week ...
