Tripped the power last evening halfway thru cycle. The little shower icon was showing on the rotation display. The drain pump keeps going and all the buttons are DEpressed and the pump is still going. Press the GO button in the the mains trips at the powerbox again.
Sound like I am about to say goodbye to a very reliable friend?
Our AEG dishie also tripped the light regularly. Turned out there was a water leak by the motors and the cut off device wasn't working and when the water filled up too much it tripped. Move the dishie and if water 'sloshes' out the back, then you know the problem, or if not, take the side panels off so you can see underneath, if there is water at the bottom of the machine. Hope you find the problem.

If your AEG FAVORIT 35085 Vi dishwasher beeps five times and stops halfway through a wash cycle, there could be a few potential causes for this issue. One possibility is that there is a problem with the water supply, such as a clogged or partially blocked inlet valve. Another potential issue could be related to the drainage system, such as a clogged filter or a malfunctioning drain pump. It's also worth checking if the dishwasher's spray arms are spinning freely and not obstructed by any debris. If the problem persists, it is recommended to consult the dishwasher's manual or contact AEG's customer support for further assistance. They can provide specific troubleshooting steps and guidance based on your dishwasher's model and any error codes that may be displayed.
Error "i30" means that water remains in base because leakage or overflow. In this case, in order to prevent flooding, drain pump running continuously.
When we talk about AEG dishwasher, drain pump works even the power is turned off (must be connected to the wall outlet, otherwise anti-flooding system will not work).
The noise what you heard during operation indicates that something is blocking the drain pump.
Remedy: you should first remove the water from the bottom of the dishwasher and determine leakage then check why the drain pump makes noise.
If you work around the dishwasher, you always take care that appliance must be disconnected from the power supply.
Definitely, water drain time-out. Error code i20.
The pressure switch doesn't return to EMPTY (1-2) after two drain phases lasting 120 seconds.
Possible causes:
Drain circuit obstructed/blocked; drain pump
interrupted or jammed (foreign bodies); level
pressure switch blocked on FULL (1-3); hydraulic
circuit of pressure switch obstructed; wiring faulty;
circuit board faulty.
Thanks to your detailed description of failure I conclude that in drain phase (after starts drain pump) leaks water and causing a short circuit. I would thoroughly reviewed drain hydraulic circuit. If is alarm displayed and there is no water inside dishwasher then check heater and anti-interference suppressor.
The rotating bit at the back of the filter is the drain pump/motor ;-0)
Don't try to glue the impeller blades back on, believe me it won't work. There is only one cure- have the pump replaced!
On my AEG Lavamat 62810, when I turn on a wash cycle a motor (pump?) runs for 10–20 seconds then the machine switches off, with no error message. When this happened a few weeks agao running a drain cycle seemed to cure it; now the same thing happens on spin/drain/rinse cycles too. Any ideas?
EFO = Filter Blocked (low flow) and it is accessible from the bottom front of the machine.
1. there is a blockage in the filter or drain hose.takes too long to drain out. 2. over dosing of powder or liquid. again can cause an air lock in the pump which slows the drain pump down.
Check the filter and drain hose and test again. this fault will only come up at the end of a cycle. You do not need to reset the machine to get rid of the fault code as this is automatically deleted.
Run an empty load with no detergent in an attempt to get rid of the code.

If you found coins and such in the drain filter then there is a possiblility that the impeller in the drain pump motor was damaged and you are not getting good water flow thru it. The machine will error out and stop mid cycle if it detects it has not drained in a set amount of time. OE indicated a drain error.
I suspect you need to have the drain pump motor assembly replaced.
