The computer monitor viewing screen continues to flicker and change color tints at random moments. It makes it difficult to view the monitor screen clearly. I would like to know how to solve this problem and/or why it is occuring. Any information about how to fix this issue would be helpful and much appreciated. *Northgate Innovations 17" LCD Tilt Monitor (Silver)

Have you made sure the video cable is plugged into the screen and the back of the computer correctly. You could also try a new video cable, because the problem may be that the wires inside the video cable have frayed. If that doesn't fix the problem you could try using a different monitor and see if you can replicate the same problem with a different monitor, if you can, the computer may have a problem with the graphics card. If you can't replicate the problem with a different monitor, it seems as though your northgate innovations monitor has developed an internal fault, if the monitor is within warranty try and get a free repair or get it replaced (if you have the receipt.

W2753v screen flicker - refresh

Hi
What causes monitor screen to flicker?
Answer
keep electronics away from your computer. Mobie phones etc. can distort the image shown on the screen for periods of time, usually when a text or call is coming through.

Answer
A nearby device can cause stray magnetic fields that will cause the display to be affected.
A problem inside the monitor will cause the display to have problems.
If somebody turns on their monitor nearby, the monitor's degaussing when it starts up will cause your monitor to dance wildly for a moment or two.

Answer well one major cause can be the weakness of the electron gun that fire electrons on the silicon plate (pixels) that produces image on the screen so there must be some problem in electron gun in my view
