Upgrading my laptop's processor from celeron 540 to 560

Well most modern laptops cannot not be upgraded in this manner because the processors are hard soldered on the motherboards. Even if you have a removable type processor the newer dual cores will not be compatible with your type of motherboard.

Check the requirements printed at the back of each game. this will tell you if the game runs. If some game is slow try disabling the antivirus while you run the game, remember to restart antivirus afterward.
Do not use software accelerator, majority of them are useless, some of them carries malaware and viruses.

there is no way you can upgrade the VGA on a laptop. You can upgrade everything else. But tis always better and cheaper to get a new one.

check with the cost of the celeron 560 and the 4gb + the 250 gb together.

I told you my opinion, If I was in your shoes I won't upgrade the CPU.Professionals do not do works against Factory specifications, and I fixcomputers for living.
Acer says Pentium dual is not supported on Acer 4315, I can only tell you not to do such an upgrade.
Itwould be the same as if you ask me if you can mount a Jaguar engine ona Mini, yes, for sure there is the way to mount it, but the car won'twork as it is supposed to, and risk to blow at first corner.
If you really want to replace your CPU consider the following.
Acersays pentium 2 dual core is not supported on 4315, if you do ityourself you risk to damage the computer. Do not do the CPU upgrade ifthis is your only laptop, or if you care of this laptop, chance ofdamaging laptop are high. This kind of upgrades are done more as anexperiment.
I know Core 2 Duo T5300 1.73 Ghz had been installedsuccessfully on Aspire 4315, Acer says not to install any core duo, Iknow for sure Pentium duo T5200 1.6 Ghz works on Aspire 4315 with noneed for replacing cooling system.
Both chipset are difficult to find, best place to find them is Ebay.

Possible it is possible, but if I was in your shoes I wouldnt do this to my laptop. First is not worth, a Intel Core 2 Duo T5500 alone costs about £.100, the CPU replacement is not a simple operation and should be performed by an expert repairman, this will cost you about £ 80 plus VAT labour, replacing cooling system with a better one would also be good.
Then after you replace it you risk to overheat your new CPU and blow it, this is one of the reasons why Acer tells customers not to upgrade to core 2 duo. Additionally, if you want to DIY you risk to damage your laptop on a complex cpu replacement operation.
The guy on you tube wanted to show his skills, but I am sure any genuine computer repair engineer will suggest you not to proceed with this kind of operation.
With all money required, labor, and risk involved in operation you will better buy a new laptop, if you really need a powerful laptop buy Alienware, uk custom made supercomputers.
Regarding the memory I know that some customers successfully mounted 4 Gbs on 4315, while I also read on the Internet other 4315 did not support 4 Gb. I assume it depends on Bios version. I suggest to contact the memory seller posted in previous message and ask if 4Gb are supported, giving them exact model number from your laptop service tag, and also ask if you can eventually get refund if this does not work.
