Hello mr, Matt the hyjacker?
why not ask using all your facts, and not OPs
my wild guess is the OP inserted to the docking station
and bent pins, and now will not work.
the word unlock here is poor choice of words
as many docking stations have option key mech. KEY lock.
so if NOT a key lock !
then it is just mechanically jammed
why not get someone to fix it
or try to unjam it your self , I am sure the OP did 8 long years ago.
or sold it or scrapped it.
invert the whole thing, LT and dock.
upside down, now press dock firmly the LT bottom
near the Connector end and at same time...
then unlatch the dock using the dock latch release now.
this relieves pressure (gravity) and can aid in the cure.
SOURCE: removing laptop from docking station
If you have the ArmadaStation EM:
The issue of removing the notebook is compounded by the fact that the ArmadaStation EM uses a motorized dock/undock mechanism to remove the notebook. When the expansion base has no power, it is unable to eject the notebook with the motor
To manually remove the notebook, use manual eject lever to push notebook out of ArmadaStation EM. The manual eject level is a small white lever located inside the back cover of the base. To remove the notebook, push the white lever to the left. Slight pulling is required to remove the notebook completely out of the base.
Hope this helps!

You will have to take the docking station apart until you can see the locking mechanism. Once you can see the mechanism, you should be able to get a screwdriver ron it and release it. Make sure that it releases, don't force it, and most of all, be patient.
SOURCE: T-60 will not seat properly in 2504 docking station.
I have the same docking station and I am typing this on my T60 right now. I have noticed that sometimes it is very hard to dock my laptop and other times it just slides on instantly. This seems to be an issue with poor design. If you look a the dock connector under you laptop you will notice there is a strip of plastic in the middle of two rows of connectors. The docking station connector must be perfectly aligned to successfully connect. I would inspect it for any damages, but honestly I think it is just an issue of patients, precision and a little bit of luck. If you can not identify any damage I would just slowly try to line it up and keep trying until it clicks. Remember to never force it and once it lines up it will slide in with very little force.
