How can I fix my dell inspiron m5030 hard drive crash

First - re-seat the hard disk and reboot the computer. If the computer does not boot up then reboot and go into the BIOS configuration to see if the BIOS detects the hard drive. If it doesn't detect the hard drive then it could be faulty.
Then the hard drive needs to be replaced in the computer/laptop, Windows installed and the computer or laptop's device drivers plus your programs etc. to get a functioning computer/laptop again.

My Inspirion m5030 is often frozen, it stops about 3-4 minites and then I can go on. Just now it happen rather often.Thank you for help, Lennart

There are many causes that could match your symptoms.
If the laptop is frozen randomly, the problem would be the memory of the laptop-probably RAM memory, but it could also be the hard drive. Download Memtest utility, and test your ram modules to see if they are ok. You can download memtest from here: http://www.memtest86.com/ to check for hard drive errors go here: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/315265

Apart from that, check if the laptop freezes when it's connected to the main power, it could be related to an electrical short circuit.
If you do not have an antivirus, try installing Avast, http://www.avast.com/es-ww/free-antivirus-download.

Dell inspirion 1525 will not boot upon power up...only displays locked 9 light solid

This is a Hard Drive error. If your unit is under one year old, you can get the drive replaced by Dell.
The drive can be accessed outside the laptop to retrieve the data, but it may fail all together very soon.
If you have no data on it, just get a new Hard drive installed. Dell should be able to replace the drive and start the system restore for you.
