I need to upgrade firmware on Mitel 5224 phones

only with a "Line Interface Module". This is a module that attaches to the back of the phone. Once attached a button will need to be programmed to allow it to work.

The phone will still need to connect to the telephone system - SX200ICP or 3300/MCD.

Contact your System Administrator or System Vendor. That is the only way to reset a password on the system.

The firmware should be upgraded to 2.0.3.ap51. This provides for better security and more options.

Your system admin or vendor will have to default the password.

You will need to search the torrents to find the firmware upgrade, Mitel have removed the firmware upgrade site to stop people from upgrading the firmware for SIP use instead of Minet, once you find the firmware you want then you upgrade it from a web browser.
