If its confirmed that the sender really sent it a couple of hours before then most probably the problem lies in your service provider rather than your phone.

that is not a problem with your phone....it is with your mobile service provider....so take it into them or give them a call

contact you network operator for the message centre number, once youve got it goto message settings and insert the number into the message centre number menu, save it and ten you can send messages

on the slide lock screen is it showing your cellualar provider, or maybe emergency calls only? you can check and make sure you have the correct sim slot opened. go to SETTINGS>DUAL SIM SETTINGS> DUAL SIM OPEN> then OK. This will make sure both sims are open. I only have my sim 1 opened but you have to be sure your sim is in the right spot. i tis very easy to insert these wrong. the "bottom" one the gold chip faces up or towards you. the "top" one faces with the gold chip is down. hope this is any help.

its broke...ive had many rumors finaly sprint saw that it wasnt me breaking them and i upgraded to a pink instinct for a good price...i would say try and get a better phone because trust me every rumor you get will end up breaking the same way!!
