I have the above headset but I need to link it to my new cell phone and I have misplaced the instructions? Is this something you can help me with? I have my new phone and headset with me.
To pair your Plantronics headset with your phone. Enable blue tooth on phone, push power button on headset and hold (make it flash between blue and red). You then have 2 or 3 minutes to type in the 0000 passcode to sink them. It really does work (tech support from Plantronics told me how to do this).
Begin with the headset turned off. Press and hold down the silver call control button in for 6-10 seconds. The light will flash blue first. Continue to hold the button down then release the button when the indicator light starts flashing red then blue.
Most devices use a standard code of 0000. I had the same problem with my blackberry requesting the code and this solved it.

12-05-2010 I am trying to pair my plantronics headset to my nokia n 72 and it is asking for a passkey. I threw out directions and am not sure what the passkey is? Any insight would be helpful. pls send my email id [email protected]

Start with the device off but fully charged. Press and hold the call control button for 8 seconds; at this point, you'll see the light flash blue then red. You'll have two minutes to connect it to your new phone. Use the passkey 0000 after your phone finds the headset.

I used my headset once...on the way home from Radio Shack. Never been able to turn it on again. Tried the previous recommendation. I've misplaced instructions too (if I ever received them). The tech set it up and never worked again. Can't get any light to come on. Is there a battery that I might be able to locate in the device?
