Multilple Panasonic AG-5210 to record from single source

Hi - We have multiple Panasonic AG-5210 machines we wish to connect in order to record from a single source to the multiple decks. Any advice? We're currently trying the serial in/out ports, but don't yet have a serial remote controller.

How do I connect my panasonic vhs 188 camcorder to a dvd recorder?

Hi,

On these old models of VHS camcorder, I recall they have either RCA outputs, or BNC connectors which will require a BNC adaptor (to convert to RCA).

Using a 3RCA lead, connect the camcorder to the video (and audio) inputs of your DVD recorder.

WISH TO FIND OUT IF YOU CAN REPAIR MY PANASONIC AG-DVC7 MINI DV COMCORDER. WHEN I TURN IT ON, A MESSAGE APPEARS "THIS CAMERA NEEDS TO BE SERVICED"

I take the cover off the door, using the eraser as the end of a pencil - lightly press on the recording head (drum). Put a tape in and watch to see if the tape now wraps around the head and stays in position to record.

HOw to record 24 tv channels same time. is it possible? I want to record all chanells from my TV.

Anything is possible. I won't ask why, I'll just give you the information. First, you need the equipment. 24x single tuner DVRs or 12x dual tuner DVRs. Second you need to connect them all to your signal source. To do this, you are will need to install a good distribution amplifier on the signal feed to boost your source. Next, you need to connect multiple splitters of good quality to distribute to signal to each PVR. You will need to check the picture on each PVR to verify the signal integrity. If the picture is poor or weak, check you cables or splitter(s). Reconnecting these to a single TV to view the recordings... that's a whole different ball game. For this, you are going to need some A/V switches or a massive A/V matrix. A diagram would be good thing to draw up before you start this project. I hope this was helpful, best wishes.

No sound when recording

Hi,

Please get your microphone tested, also, you can try testing the recording using external microphone.
It seems that the problem is with microphone contacts or internal loose connections.

Seem to be a minor one, hope it will be resolved with above methods.

Thanks.

clean the heads; often, heads that will play back a pre-recorded tape may not record because of dirt.

Panasonic agdvx100b

Since it doesnt sound like you have a special external firewire hdd recorder that can direct connect to the camera, you gotta capture it with your pc and send it to your hdd after. Watch out that most of those hdd are set (partitionned) as they cant transfer file bigger than 4.xx gig... (You can usually set file recording from your pro capture software that built multiple file no more bigger than 4 gig per file...
