Hi from retired Englishman in SW France,
(no promises but try this!)
I would gently suggest as a first step that you clean the drain motor lint tray/filter. So many 'faults' are caused by blocked filters and many machines will not even go to spin or release the door lock if there is any water still left inside.
Here are my complete guidance notes for checking both the drain motor filter and the drain motor ;-0)
-------------------------------------

If you are unsure where the filter is, it is often behind the front lower (kick) panel (or in some machines at the rear in an awkward position!) and most are held in by a round cover/knob. Sometimes the filter will not come out with the cover and you will have to persuade it to come out to play!

REMOVE POWER AND ENSURE YOU HAVE A WATER RECEPTACLE/RAGS TO SOAK UP THE WATER WHICH IS BOUND TO POUR OUT!
It's surprising what people have found in theirs! It is always worthwhile checking it on a regular basis.
Now- whilst the filter is removed it is normally possible to see the drain motor and ensure it is not jammed by a foreign object such as a needle or a toothpick. It should be able to be turned by hand/finger- the power IS OFF!
At this point it is also possible to test if the motor works. No clothes or water in the machine, select a spin cycle and put the power back on. You should be able to see the motor turning at some point, possibly straight away. Using something suitable like a glove see if it is easy to briefly slow the motor down. If it is easy then the motor is malfunctioning!

If this has assisted you please consider a 4 thumbs up for the rating.
Thanks and good luck!
John C

My washing machine would stop and beep and not advance to the next wash cycle and it was taking forever to fill up. I did the diagnostics and found it to be #49 which is a faulty hot or cold water valve. ...

Sorry for the very much delayed response due to site changes which modified the notification system.

Anyway, you should try holding first the WASH TEMP DOWN button then the POWER button until there's a beep. If it doesn't work, use WASH TEMP UP instead.

Make sure the Restart feature is turned on and the Recycle feature is turned off if all else fails. During the diagnostic mode use the WATER LEVEL DOWN button to turn RESTART on by pressing the said button until the LOW WATER LEVEL LED turns on. Use the WATER LEVEL UP button to turn RECYCLE off. The MEDIUM WATER LEVEL LED off indicates RECYCLE OFF. To set these modes in EEPROM the Advance button must be held while selecting Restart or Recycle. Power off the machine thereafter to complete the reset.

Water will not fill during rinse cycle water just keeps runningg?

That is quite normal. When the rince cycle is on, it sprays water into the tub while spinning. In that way, it removes small traces of residule soap still on the clothes.Of course it should stop once the spin cycle is finnished.

Washer beeps at the end of each cycle, must be advanced manually

Hi Steve just read your posting. Now when it starts to beep a series of lights will light up.Starting from left to right they are numbered 1st on the left=128 next is=64 next is=32 next is =16 next is= 8 next is = 4 next is = 2 next is = 1. So the lights are numbered from left to right 128--64--32--16-- 8-- 4--2--1. now with this information look at the lights that are lit add up the value of the lit lights and reply back and i will look in my service manual and tell you what part or parts are faulty. hope this helps.

Will not go into high speed final spin after rince cycle..only spins back and forth slowly and the uE indicator comes on stopping the machine. Have tried taking out a few laundry items and re-starting and...

uE is unbalanced error. When you have bulky items, wash them with a slow spin speed. Larger loads actually balance out better, so adding items might help instead of subtracting them. After the cycle completes, if you want to you can turn the power on again and (without selecting a cycle) just push the spin speed selector button and select the next highest spin speed. The load will most likely make it through the next higher speed now that it is partially spun out. You should get a 14 minute spin and pump only when you start it now.

Bosch classixx 1000 washing machine - stops on spin

Washing machine stops at the spin cycle - light flashes. Have to drain water out manually. Happened last week and was then able to run an empty rinse cycle. Machine worked normally for another week. Same problem today but have had to drain water manually from the drum after trying an empty 90 wash and rinse cycle (both stopped on the Spin and flashed). Any ideas? Thanks. x
