Please do not set a CMOS, aka BIOS password. Such passwords are so easily beaten, so easily forgotten and serve no real purpose for a personal owned computer.
If you are trying to get around a password that you already put in that you forgot ... find and diconnect the BIOX battery - wait 30 seconds and replace it.
The built in 256 is integrated into the motherboard, and is not removable. If it's faulty, then, unfortunately, the motherboard will have to be replaced. There's no other way around it.
Its in the middle of the laptop at the back side..you have to go through the manual for changing the ram.. there will be 2 locks ,you just have to press and pull it up.
