It is an either/or thing. I would recommend you get a headphone amplifier or get external speakers and drive them externally. Internal speakers are relatively poor quality anyway

How do I get the Vestax vci mk2 to work on a sony vaio notebook? It seems that people have problems with the sony vaio laptop picking up the controller. On the vestax website it says that the problem is...

There probably is a conflict with the camera hardware and or driver. Your best help may be on those Vestax forums. You could try removing the camera drivers in the Sony... but it may be a hardware conflict that may have no solution.

I need my usb port replaced on my vestax vci-300. Can you help?

The electronics of a USB port is fairly robust. Why do you think the USB port needs replacing? Or do you just mean the connector... Even those are fairly robust and if they wiggle, they may just need to be resoldered to the circuit board.

Vestax vcm 100 driver traktor pro

hi, you need to go here:
http://help.vestax.co.jp/en/detail.php?id=80&id_page_url=56&cate=0

and download the .tks file for your version of Traktor. Suggest you save it to the Traktor program directory.

Then within Traktor in the controller settings section, load the .tks file, save and you're good to go. Obviously you can tweak the configuration as much as you like once it's loaded. Suggest you always keep a backup of the original.

Jog wheel is blocked and hard to spin

Hey, the vci 100 out of the box has the problem of sticky jog wheels, Im not sure how long you have had the interface, but mine took a bit of use to start spinning freely. These jog wheels are definately the weekest link and degrade rapidly, the case is easy to remove there are about 8 screws including one one front and rear edge, you will notice the grafite lubricant used on the jog wheel mechanisim, a fine grade grafite would not go astray when maintaining this moving part
