Do all of the speed lights flash at the same time or do they ripple from left to right? If they ripple from left to right the chair is in lock mode and you can use the unlock procedures from my tips to unlock. If they are all flashing at the same time you have an internal joystick problem and the joystick needs to be replaced Hope this helps

i have the same chair, a jet 3 ultra that wont work; whe you turn on the chair the power indicator blinks quickly and it wont do anything, recently ive tried to found an unlock mode by presing the buttons 3sec or more and i found that if you power on the chair and then once its turned on you press the power button for 3 sec it will make a sound like a beep, pretty much like the default "horn" that its included, by the way the horn its the only thing that can be used.
    thanks in advance.

Code 8: Controller problem. Also, check to see if your gearbox levers are engaged - if you can roll the chair by hand the gearbox is not engaging the motors.

I JUST PURCHASED A JAZZY WHEEL CHAIR AND IT IS I THINK 2003 MODEL WHEN TURNED ON THERE ARE 3 RED LIGHTS AND 4 YELLOW LIGHTS FLASHING AND NOTHING HAPPENS

the 7 lights indicate a joystick problem which means the joystick/controller will have to be replaced since there is no self repair fix Unless you can locate a good used joystick/controller for cheap (around $600.00 rebuilt) I would return the chair and get my money back Hope this helps

Wheel chair won't move. Batteries have been charging for several hours and have some charge but chair will not move.Any suggestions? Thanks

Romp, Did you check the freewheel levers chair will not move if you are in freewheel. Levers are in front next to seat posts and need to be facing forward. If you are not in freewheel then check the number of lights you have on on the joystick and that they aren't flashing. Also check that your speed control is not on the lowest setting even with some charge a slow speed setting will not let the chair move. Now by some charge you mean lights in the green on the joystick? If the lights aren't flashing then I'm kinda unsure other than even with some charge the batteries don't have enuf current to drive the motors and need to be replaced Hoe this helps

When switched on power light flashes.

How many flashes? Count number of flashes should be a slight pause then flashes the same number of times . Your manual will give you flash codes and you can determine what the problem is. If all the lights are flashing and there is no pause the chair could be in "lockout" Your manual should tell you how to get the chair out of lockout I think that Pride uses the joystick to get it out of this mode.. Turn the chair on move the joystick forward till you hear a beep then move the joystick to the rear until you hear another beep release the joystick and the lights should quit flashing Hope this helps

Pride mobility Jet 3 Ultra Power Chair 7 flashing lights. joystick error. how do i fix ? Three red LEDs Four yellow LEDs

a 7 Flashe code. There is a joystick fault. Make sure the joystick is in the center position and then power off and on again. Check all your couplings. make sure when turning on the unit you only mash the power button for 1 sec. 2-3 sec will put the unit in "Lock out mode".
This ierror will also be present if the joystick is off center when powered up. If you experience these symptoms, you must first make sure there is no physical damage to the joystick preventing it from returning to the center position. Then turn the power off and back on again (making sure the joystick is not depressed in any direction. If the joystick repeats this error, the controler much be replaced. smithrmrm70@hotmail.com
