My one-week new whirlpool cabrio dryer kept beeping after running for a couple minutes. The lint was clean. It happened when I selected Bulk option. No error code. I stopped it and switched to Normal option and beeping was gone.

Derf, E1 means an open thermistor. If this is a front loader, remove the lower panel by removing the 3 screws on the bottom panel. The thermistor will be sitting right behind the blower housing next to a white thermal fuse. The thermistor is the black one. If this is a standard model the lower panel should open by sliding a puddy knife on the two clips and pulling foward. The thermistor is in the same place as a front loader. Your part number should be 3976615. An easy job. Don't forget to kill the power to the unit when repairing...Good luck.
