My 1995 Pontiac firebird (3.4L V-6 Automatic) sputters when load is applied to the motor (slow acceleration) between 1500 and 2200RPM. Above 2200 rpm the car does not bog much at all. From a take off at dead stop the vehicle also bogs down considerably and there is a noticeable loss of power. Removal of the spark plugs show plugs 4, 3, and 5 as black or over carboned, with a distinct smell of gasoline coming from the exhaust system. Suspect coil pack but at this time I have not been able to get a meter to check resistance for these issues. TPS sensor, IAT Sensor and IAC Valve have been replace and the plugs have 200 miles on them.

Pontiac Firebird driver door window motor

I have a 1994 firebird and yes, it does have rivets that required a tool the local auto stores did not have available. I bought the motor and took it to an auto glass shop. Only $60 in labor to install.
