I reformat my psp 3000 on pc.then when i was looking the version of my psp in system information..some words appear in the screen and i think the color of the background is red and the words appears in the screen is different laguages..what does it means???

If you are talking about firmware, then go to Settings-System settigns-System information

I think ur psp is semi-bricked. If u just update ur psp's firmware it will be allright...
Do it as soon as possible to which ever official firmware u like,the only thing is it should be a higher version than what u r using now...

Uh oh. Did you sit on it or something? The LCD is cracked. I don't know if sony will cover that under the warranty.. Replace the screen; all it takes is steady hands and a set of electronics screwdrivers. The screen will run you about $25.00. Look up how to do it on youtube. Heres some links to screens:

YEs its because its not hacked in other words it cannot play games from your memory stick.. you can hack your psp IF IT DOESNT SAY PSP 3000 or 3001 HOW to check what version it is?? look on the bottom of your psp theres a serial number there keep reading until you see the PSP and there it should provide you with the versions number you can hack a psp 1001 1000 2000 2001 BUT you CANNNNNNNNNNNNOTTTTTTTTT hack a 3000 or 3001 dont try because youll literaly destroy your psp .. usually there is a sticker below the select/start button. its like a barcode. and at the end of it should read something like this.....psp 1000 or psp 1001 (these are also known as the "FAT") psp 2000 or psp 2001(these are also known as the "SLIMS"), psp 3000 or psp 3001 etc.. (these are also known as the "NEW SLIM"), and of course you have the new psp which is the psp-go and they look totally different all together.

if you want to know what firmware version you have turn on your psp and go to SETTINGS>SYSTEM SETTINGS>SYSTEM INFORMATION.. and click "X" it should show you these information

system software -- the latest version of firmware u installed on your psp

nickname -- the name you gave your psp when you set it up

mac address -- mac address

I assume you have a customized firmware version CFW of PSP. Your PSP probably set back into its original firmware version.

To check the firmware version of your PSP, go to the "SETTINGS" icon and scroll down to "System Settings" then press X. The profile information will be displayed, then scroll down to "System Information" then press X, there the System Software of your PSP will be displayed.

If the version displayed is version 4.01, "version 5.03", version 5.50 and etc. then it was in the original firmware version. You need to hack again your PSP.

If the version displayed is "5.03 GEN-C (full), 4.01 M33, 5.05 GEN-B (full), 5.50 GEN-D3 and etc. then it is a customized firmware. Then I suggest try reformatting your memory stick and copy again your games in the memory stick.

I suggest looking for custom firmwares and messing around with those. Or you can always reformat it through your PSP.

Well the best option would be the psp 3000 because it has a better screen width, has a enhanced graphics processor and can play Flash Videos i think (Newgrounds videos). It also is lighter than the rest of them
