Just go to device manager and find universal serial bus and update all driver it miht solve your problem

1st You download Webcam Driver.
A4tech softwer downlod After this install the Webcam driver in the system.
Installation of Webcam Driver
Go to the control panel
Click on the System Icon
Click on the Hardware Tab
Click on the Device Manager s
Select the Unknown Device or printer device where yellow Question Marks sign on it.
Right click on it and uninstall it.
After this go to the top of the device manager and click on scan for hardware changes.

Code 28 driver for xp

Microsoft Help and Support says that "Code 28 (The drivers for this device are not installed)" appears when the Windows Sound System Compatible Driver for the Windows 2000 operating system is deleted upon the upgrade to Windows XP. It's possible to repair this code.

Click on "Start." On the "Start" menu, click on "Control Panel." In the "Control Panel" folder, click on "Performance and Maintenance." Click on the "System" folder in the "Performance and Maintenance" folder. Click on the tab titled "Hardware." Click on the box that says "Device Manager." Click on "Sound, Video, and Game Controllers." Right-click on the device that prompts Windows XP to display Code 28 (it should be Windows Sound System Compatible Driver, also called the WDM driver). A drop-down menu will appear. Click on "Update" and an Update Wizard will guide you through the installation of a new device driver, which should stop Code 28 from appearing on Windows XP.
