Razor E-100 - The toggle switch was broken, I replaced it with another lighted switch, but the switch won't light. The motor runs o.k., why won't the switch light when turned on? Thanks.

So If I understand, you turn on toggle and then use key to engage starter? Do brake lights and turn lights work, just not the running lights? Or are all tail lights dead. If none work, juice is not getting to the headlamp switch. Best fix would be to replace the probably bad ignition switch and repair wiring back to original, but quick fix would be to run a second wire from toggle switched side to the headlamp switch +
The toggle switch automatically resets all faults when it is turned to the off position. I would turn the toggle switch off, turn off the breaker on the generator and then turn off all the loads in the house except a few lights. Turn the generator breaker back on, then turn the toggle switch back to automatic. If it starts and stays running, you were overloading the generator. Turn on other loads slowly and keep track of what is on so you don't overload it again. If it still does not stay on, you may have a problem with the panel. Let me know what happens.
open the door interior light will be on put the vehicle ignition in run postion dash lights will be on operate the window switch up and down look at dome light if it is dimming a little when operating switch window motor is no good if not remove the switch and check power at switch if none the boot between the body and door has a broken wire
sounds like the battery is bad and not taking charge.replace battery attemp again if not then check for fuel, spark and compression.then c wat happens or wats not working any motor no matter how small or big has to hv those three things to run. hope this helps.
first check your fueses, if thats not it on the slinder part of the arm behind the dash "the break" arm. There is a toggel switch when you push the break the button will release causing the break lights to come on when you let off the breaks it will engage the toggle switch and turn off the break lights....if the toggle switch goes out they wont work also have some one stand behind the car and wiggle the wires of the toggle switch see if it has a bad connection before you replace the switch could be just corresion or the wires may have came loose..
I assume that all the other windows are working. This means there a problem with the driver window switch or a problem with the window motor and regulator. Remove the interior door panel. Check that the regulator is not broken or jammed. Then test with a voltmeter to see if there is voltage at the window motor when the switch is toggled. If there is voltage, but the motor does not run, you need to replace the motor. If there is no voltage when the switch is toggled, chances are the switch is bad and needs to be replaced, although there could also be a problem elsewhere in that window circuit.
