Am hving hp deskjet 1280 printer but after the driver installation when i give print it doesn't print and nothing the message showing me.

I think you must check some things like:
- usb cable is good cable and work correctly.
-your computer USB ports works correctly.
-the power is connected to printer and its work and its leds plink.
-you choose the write driver.

Please make shure that printer is not offline, or other printer to be set default. Also if you press resume printing at the printer for more than 3 sec internal printer test page is coming out, if not check cartriges

It seems you are using a print server to connect the printer 1280 to your LAN. Uninstall the printer software and printer server driver. Error in A3 print
I had the same problem. Didn't find the answer. I removed the HP 1280 driver and installed HP 1220 Driver. It worked. It prints all the sizes perfectly. What is in name if we get the prints on A3 size. whether it is HP 1280 or HP 1220 :)

Problems printing with HP Deskjet 1280
When I printed powerpoint documents on a hp deskjet 1280 it failed to print lines. I found that this problem could be solved by changing the transparency attribute of the line to 50%. The transparency attribute of a line or shape can be found by clicking on the sequence format/shape-outline/more-outline-colours/transparency at the top of the screen
