Once you make your BlackBerry discoverable, then put the Plantronics
Voyager 510 into pairing mode by holding the call control and volume up
buttons at the same time until

Unfortunately, the Plantronics Voyager 510 Bluetooth headset does
not have a replaceable battery, it is "hard wired". However the 510
headset does have a one year warranty, so Plantronics will replace it
within the warranty period. If it's out of warranty, you can buy a
replacement if you'd like or buy the newer version which is the
Plantronics Voyager Pro+, which is just a newer, slimmer model and it

Hearing a Plantronics Voyager 510 headset through a computer:
To use a Plantronics Voyager 510 headset through your computer, you
either need a USB Bluetooth adapter or you must have Bluetooth built in
to your computer. Once the Voyager 510 headset is "connected" to your
pc (by one of the mentioned ways), you may need to go into the control
panel on the computer or the specific software program being used to set
the Plantronics Voyager 510 headset as the "default device". Keep in
mind that the headset has to be powered on and to also have to activate
the headset to connect to the Bluetooth adapter or computer.
Turn on Bluetooth within your phone. Put phone into pairing mode.Put headset into pairing mode - With headset on, press and hold call button and the volume up simultaneously until the headset begins to flash red and blue.
Pick the headset for Plantronics when prompted. Enter "0000" (four zeros)
you should now have a continuous blue light blinking.
Choose "Yes" if your phones asks if you want to bond to the Voyager 510 bluetooth headset.
Here is a solution that might work on your HTC Thundermug. The User's Guide indicates "activate bluetooth pairing mode by pressing the Power button". It should indicate to press and hold the power button. Pressing and holding resulted in the headset being recognized within 5 seconds by the HTC Thunderbolt. This is a problem with the User's Guide. Make sure that your Blackberry's headset mode is activated. If the
headset mode is turned on in the Blackberry menu and settings, you may
also need to re-pair the headset to your phone to make sure that it has a

my plantronics 510 voyager did the same thing. try putting the earpiece back on to the main bluetooth and wrapping a small rubber band BETWEEN THE TWO. the object is to put some opposing pressure on the earpiece to force it to stay on. it'll work at least till you get anoter earpiece
