In many cases, a blown fuse is the reason a horn does not work. Locate your fuse box. The specific location can be found inside your owner's manual. Inside of the fuse panel, you will find a diagram of the fuses. One of the fuses will say Horn. I recommend changing the fuse. If you do not know a lot about changing fuses, a auto parts store should be able to help you out. Hope this helps!

Where is a Mitsubishi eclipse spyder 2003 wiper relay ?

The two relays for the front [main] wipers are part of the front ECU [engine computer] and are not serviceable separately. The front wipers are powered by a 10 amp [#22 in the relay box] battery hot fuse and a 20 amp [#18 in the junction box] & two 7.5 amp [#20 & #23 in the junction box] ignition hot fuses. The front ECU is located under the hood. It sits on top of the driver's inner fender well.

How to repair mitsubishi

Not being smart but get a manual or youtube it. You need to remember that the air bag is located near the horn device. You can be hurt by the bag if it inflates.

How to remove break light bulb in 2003 mitsibushi spyder

Check the brake light switch located on the brake pedal arm. Its above the pedal under the dash and has a connector with several wires attached to it. The switch is either bad, broken, or out of adjustment. If you have to step on the brake to shift out of park there is also a another switch located there as well.

disconnect battery and join the cables together for a while if that doesnt work then disconnect battery and call the breakdown truck to take it to the dealer who has the right diagnostic software to sort the problem out for you .This is not a home repair type job

The horn on my 2003 Mitsubishi spyder has stopped blowing. I suspect an electrical problem as, recently, one or both of the horns would work PART of the time. Is this common?

Horns are pretty simple in their operation. I would more suspect a horn relay. I am not very familiar with your vehicle, but usually due to the electrical current used in the horn circuit, most manufacturers run the circuit through a relay. An easy way to eliminate your horn is to simply run a wire directly from your battery and touch on the horn contacts. The horn should sound when you touch the wires onto the horn terminals. Hope this helps.
