The Legend 4 wheel XL scooter has a S drive controller. This is an assumption based on the model described. I would have to run the serial number to be certain. With the S drive controller a beep code of 6 indicates a bad throttle potentiometer or a throttle potentiometer which is out of neutral on start up. You can test for this by turning off the scooter and attempting to try various neutral positions of the pot, and turning the scooter on with your other hand while maintaining this neutral position. This usually works by trial and error.
The more technical way is to remove the front console covers and inspect the pot mechanism visually checking the spring and movement and electronically using a digital volt meter.
If you do indeed have a code for the charger plugged in (and of course it is not), then you have a bad charger. These chargers are notorious for going into drive inhibit when they burn out and the computer will give a code of charger plugged in. To test for this, you need to remove the cover to get to the charger and unplug the charger on the output side. If the scooter runs you have a bad charger that is stuck in drive inhibit (electronically equivalent to the scooter being plugged into an AC wall outlet). Hope this helps.
