The speed display will flash whenever you have the charger plugged in. Either in the back or in the joystick. Hopefully you didn't have them both plugged in at the same time. If after you unplug the charger you still get the flashing speed lights then you have an inhibit problem with the chair. The inhibit function will keep you from being able to drive the chair while charging. This repair is beyond anything you can do and must be referred to a Pride dealer or Repair service Hope this helps you

My chair will not change speeds. Very slow, No flashing lights

That is possible. Check the power circuit from the battery and see if there is any loose connections or resistance in the circuit via the voltage drop method. Here are some links that may help:

When i plug the cable into the joystick control (MK5SOJ+) all the lights around the horn button blink on and off motor wont engage and it won't shut off til pull out the cable do i need a

Hello,

When you say the power cable I hope you mean the cable that comes from the main control module under the chair. I want to make sure you are not talking about the AC power cable that plugs from the chair to a wall outlet. So if we are on the same page about the cable is the one going from the joystick to the main control module under the chair and all you do is plug it in and the green speed lights start to blink this would indicate the joystick is bad.

What features do I need on my camping chair?

I recommend you to look for camping chairs that have armrests, a back and padding on the seat and on the back. You should check if the chair is comfortable for you and if it's easily folded.

I can not reach the AC power charging recepticle on the back of my m51 pronto. Other people might get out of the chair and walk to the back but I can not walk at all. I need the AC charger in the front...

Leave the charger cord plugged into the back of the chair and wrap the cord around the right armrest near the joystick. You can then plug it into a power strip located near your bed from the seated position. It won't hurt to have it near where you can reach it Just make sure that its secured when not being used and won't fall off the armrest Hope this helps

Do not know if chair is taking a charge lights just keep moving across armrest .how do u tell when fully charged?

hi let me see if i can help ,

When the lights go back and forth on your joystick that means the chair knows its pluged in .Now the chair itself has a built in charger that is mounted on the back of your chair .The back of the chair ,there is a opening a cutout in the frame .when you plug in your chair there will be a red light and a yellow ,yellow means the chair is charging, wait till it turns green, this means fully charged. When you plug in the chair youll see the lights through that hole.Look for the lights.

I recommend my customers to leave there chair charging over night look at the light it will be green when you turn the chair on the joystick should show fully charge.

Good luck hope i was of some help.

Is there a way to increase the width of the armrests? My paraplegic pt is getting pressure areas on the side of his L thigh because it leans against the armrest. thanks!

Behind the chair where the armrests go into the frame are two knobs loosen these knobs and you can adjust (pull out) the armrests to the size you need then retighten the knobs to keep them in place

Can the speed of the Jazzy Power chair be increased beyond the setting on the armrest remote controller?

Make sure that your tires are properly inflated and that you are not carrying more weight than the power chair will allow and that your batteries are fully charged.
If you got your chair second hand, sometimes the previous owner has the technician change the controller settings to "dampen" it to slow it down to allow them greater response time and control. The technician can reprogram the controller to take it back to 100%. If you got the power chair new, it should be at 100% already.
Take it easy, HotRod. It's a medical device, not a car!
Good luck!
