Got a Bosch WFO 2460, drum stopped turning, replaced brushes and cleaned up the stator but it still wont work. When it stopped the first time it triped the Mains circuit breaker so i am wondering if there is any resets on the washing machine?

There is a thermal cut out located in the windings on the motor you may have o hunt for this it has a wire going in and n out, you could short it out as a quick test if motor running....

I would suspect worn brushes in the motor as being the cause of the problem here.
Check them, and if they are less than 3 or 4mm long, then they need replacing.
hi sounds like the motor brushs are worn down,some bosch models you can change them without removing the motor ,but others its best to remove it,they just twist out,and to refit use a small blade flat blade screwdriver to tuck tab in,thanks
possibly the motor brushes.
take back panel off and motor is held in by bolts which undo - also disconnect electrical plug and socket.
check condition of brushes
This deffenitly could be the brushes. Wierd sound normally comes from the electric sparking between the stator and the brushes. If it are not the brushes the best bet will be the bearing.
