I want to unlock my HTC Droid cell phone but i dont know how.

Ur defalt phones codes is 12345 or 00000 u can use it
Default 4 Digit user code: 1234 or 0000
Default 6 Digit Security code: 123456 or 000000
Default 6 Digit Security code: 000999 or 1122
Type *#06# at the mobile screen to know IMEI no of your mobile.
send the IMEI no to me and i will reply you with unlocking code.

There can be many ways to Unlock your phone. As far as i know unlocking by codes is the simple and safe way. I will suggest the website Unlock-Zone.com which is doing good service and they were recommended highly in the cell phone forums.
I used them to unlock my cell phone. contacted them and within 30 mins i had my unlock code and my phone was unlocked.

Download z4root using Google Search and you will find the link to download/install z4root app for your Android.

Once installed, run z4root and do a TEMPORARY root as that is all that works right now with the HTC Incredible.

It still roots your phone and gives you full access to everything (root access; hence the term "Rooting" your Droid).
