The beeps are post during
post the very first work is done by the ram,all the memory in the ram is first
transferred to the hard disk, and remains active untill turned off. make sure
that your RAM is securely seated One bad lead can cause a computer to continue on a cycle or
to shutdown or fail to detect your hard drive Test all leads that attach to your hard drive including
electrical extensions,IDE,SATA the leads from your ((motherboard
to your hard drive)) make sure they have a secure connection and are not
faulty or just replace them there probably old and faulty
make
sure all leads that are attached to your drives dvd\cd 3 1/2 inch floppy have
secure connections and are not faulty even the electic extensions or just
replace them they could be faulty a computer needs its connections to continue
its cycle and have an end so any faulty leads will end up with a computer error
hope
this helps
how did you check the leads from motherboard to the hard drive if you went back to the built in navidia and everything worked alright obvisously the beeps are windows searching for some hardware it could be RAM cd/dvd hard drive or motherboard all of these must have secure connections for the computer to work
they are all secure, didn't find any loose connections, after that i did try seperate video card, but same thing,so i went back to built in one, worked,no beeps,so far
the one you you are trying to use might be the problem faulty or might be installed properly
Click start control panel administrive tools computer management device manager scroll to display adapters + to expand you might see a yellow question mark ? or exclamation mark ! or a red x right click select reinstall drivers
if your computer came with a motherboard disc the drivers could be on it
cnetdownload.com on the home page you should see the download software finder under that there will be a list platform, category sub category price from the category drop down list select drivers then from the price drop down list select free or which ever applies to your need or major geeks download this graphics driver this will depend on your operating systemhttp://download.cnet.com/%7Bvalue=http:/...

thank you for your help, but as you know when i put this video card in i have no picture,so i am not able to check anything that you listed, except that all my cables are secure, tried reseating video card, same result, beeps, never had an issue with drivers that were installed, can't see them when it is not installed, only see built in cards drivers, was told by another that those beeps under a phoenix bios meant corrupted video card or not seated properly, tried that,no difference, assuming card is no good. Thanks again for you trying to help.
cheers and good luck with it
