I've discovered something lately : whenever you click the save game button, all you have to do is keep playing the game while it's saving itself. This way I can assure that you'll never lose any progress. It took me a while to figure it out, but there it is.

Hello, I've had the same problem and been able to go around it somehow. Before I load my save, there is a second or two of in-game screen, then It shows "nintendo" and then "the game pak is only designed for gameboy color". During those seconds, QUICKLY click Save Game and do it multiple times. Some save files will still be with the odd message, while other will run perfectly. I suggest you save your game multiple times and very often, then you can test If then are running correctly, and delete the corrupted ones, or load an old one. Good Luck

Well its because that the gamepack that you have for your GBC is a fake gamepack then.

Playr.org pokemon red, saved the game and i can see the image of the screen from the save but when i go to play, the screen is vertical bars

Well I think that the gamepack is broken. Or battery that allows you to save your game data is probally dying on you and needs to be replaced. Or you can just buy a new game then.

Playr.org Pokemon Crystal game not saving

Hey! My pokemon Red has stopped saving too. I think the problem is with their site because I've used a different browser, different account and different game and always the same problem. The console in Chrome shows that there is an internal server error so I think the problem is their end.

I have the same problem. I deleted all but three of my saves, one of them a little older than the others. The two new ones give me the same problem as you described. Tried playing again from the old one, saved, but I'm getting the same problem for the new saves.

When i save on Pokemon gold, silver, and crystal (for GBA) then turn if off then back on to load my game it says "the saved file is corrupted" of there is no "continue" button to push....

Well its because the battery inside of the gamepack is dead now. The battery inside of the gamepack allows you to save the game data is dead now so buy a new one then.
