First you have to insert the sound card int the PCI slot of your motherboard. After this boot into your desktop and download the driver from the following link and install them.
if this one ( http://support.creative.com/downloads/download.aspx?nDownloadId=1843 ), does not work please provide model number (eg. CTxxxx) (written on a sticker on the backside of the card or the card itself) or go to Device Manager right click on the"unknown hardware" > Properties > Details and write down the text in the first line (eg. PCI\VEN_xxxx&DEV_xxxx).
