Since you posted this four months ago, there has been some major updates from NComputing to improve the USB architecture. This should improve support for peripherals such as your printer. Download the latest software for either W2K3 (v4.9.5) or W2K8r2 (v6.1.3) and update your system. Lastly, it is critical, and I mean absolutely critical, that you update the firmware on the L300 as well. The firmware is included with the vSpace update so once the host is updated, go to the L300 and tell it to update the firmware. The current firmware version that works with v6.1.3 or v4.9.5 is v1.4.1. As of this writing, 8/16/11, those are the current versions.

Incorrect port message with canon lbp2900

Look in the Printer Properties for a Virtual USB port; an LPT1 port is a parallel port, seldom included on newer computers. The software CD should have installed a USB port, and associated the printer with that port.

Usb light link

HP LaserJet 1022 is a "host-based" printer so it must be connected to a PC. Load the driver on PC first and connect the USB cable when software tells you to do so.

Will not work on a Linksys print server.

LaserJet 1022N & LaserJet 1022NW have "special" HP print servers that can support HP host based printers.

Ncomputing x550 how to connect webcam to all user

The X550 does not have any direct USB port support, in other words, there are NO USB ports on the XD2 devices that connect to the X550 card. You can however connect USB devices to the host system and then assign that port/device to a specific XD2 NComputing seat within the NComputing console.

I have 20 nos of L300 device, each client has its own printer. The problem is that when I connect two printers of same model say hp laser jet 2014 on two different clients ,the printer does not work it shows...

The way the NComputing solution works, all the users are sharing the same host. So when you connect two printers, it's as if two printers are connected to that one host PC. When suing the USB port on the L300 you may have issues every time the device disconnects (like when a user logs off from their session) because the printer and it's respective port may have to be re-enumerated by the host. If possible, it might be better to do network printers. Also, when installing the printers, especially if you have the same make and model, make sure to LABEL them with unique names, i.e. Printer1, Printer2, etc. Otherwise, the host may have difficulty, more so the user, knowing which printer is 'theirs'.

How to use fingerprint, scaaner and fargo print with terminal of pc,if not support add detial.thank

Simply install the driver for the scanner and printer on the HOST system. Plug in your peripherals and when the user on the L300 logs in they should see the printer. The problem with the fingerprint scanner is depending on the make/model, it may not work with the NComputing device. The only way it will have a chance of working is to make sure the device has a live session, sitting at a logon prompt for the desktop. The L300 by itself won't know what to do with the fingerprint scanner. It needs a session to the host to marry up the driver with the peripheral. Also make sure you have the latest vSpace software as NComputing has implemented a new USB architecture for larger USB peripheral support.
