Very carefully!!!!!! Why would you take it apart not knowing how to put it back together again?????? Take pictures next time, after you call a plumber to put it back together again Humpty....

Gee thanks Humpty, you just dumped on me. Just a girl here trying to fix her own plumbing. Does anyone else have a photo or drawing of what it is supposed to look like when it works? I think a very small part might have flushed down the loo.

I would not know if you are a girl boy or other and frankly do not care! You are on a computer correct, why don't you do a search for your loo's maker and get a diagram from them, that would be my first inclination, if I was in need of such pertinent information. The web has soooo much info at your grasp don't put all your eggs in one basket ! Good Luck.... I hope you have another loo to use in the meantime?

My toto toilet was installed with the seal which came with it. A leak started in the downstairs suite and when the plumber lifted the toilet off the floor he said it needed a wax seal as well as the rubber...

That should work. Sometimes if the space between the bottom of the fixture and the top of the collector ring is too large, (ie: the addition of flooring) one can double up on the wax rings also.

REMOVAL OF TOTO AQUIA TOILET

first shut off water and then flush the john. this will remove most of the water. for water remaining in tank us a sponge or similar to remove remaining water. find where toilet bolts to floor and remove these bolts or nuts. then pick whole toilet from floor, there should be a wax ring under toilet, replace wax ring when putting back in. when putting back in just push down on toilet to squish wax ring and bolt to floor, turn on water and check for leaks. good luck

Toilet won't flush - water drains very slowly

YOU COULD HAVE A BLOCKAGE IN YOURE LINE OR IF YOU ARE LUCKY YOU JUST NEED TO ADJUST THE CHAIN THAT CONCTS THE Handle to RUBBER STOPPER IN THE BACK OF THE TOILET THIS WATER IS CLEAN AND YOU CAN PUT YOUR HAND IN THE BACK PART OF THE TOILET WITH NO WORRIES JUST TAKE OFF THE LID AND FLUSH IT OBSERVE THE RUBBER STOPPER IN THE BACK OF THE TOILET IS IT COMING ALL THE WAY OUT

Toto CST853 cistern will not refill. Was fine yesterday. City is working on pipes and broke a water main last evening, all other faucets and toilets are working....can I clean the water filter or does it...

alot of times you can turn the water off to the toilet and the tops of the fill valves usually pop or screw off. then if you put a small cup over the top of the fill valve you can turn it back on and flush the debris out and put it back together. if its a fluid master type you can pop the top off it. and turn the float arm a 1/4 to half turn and the whole top will come off

Looking to buy/install Toto Aquia II in my circa 1964 co-op apt.

When you say 10.5 inches from wall, do you mean that from the center of the drain in the floor to the back wall is 10.5 inches? If so, you need a toilet for a "10 inch rough-in" dimension. The Aquia doesn't come in that dimension. Sorry!

Caroma Sydney Smart model 270 comes in a 10 inch rough-in and is a dual flush model. Note that all dual flush toilets are fairly expensive as compared to normal toilets. HOWEVER, genrally speaking, ALL 10 inch rough-in toilets are fairly expensive just because the low volume that are sold.
