Sir, I am having nokia 7210supernova mobile phone. I want to install Fexplorer file manager to recover deleted sms. But my phone doesn't read .SIS files (Fexplorer is a .sis file application). Can you tell me how can i install .sis file in my mobile or is there any other software which can run on my 7210supernova and can recover the deleted sms. Its urgent plz help me....

This is a Series 40 phone , it dosent support sis files.only series 60 and above will support sis files. please rate this comment.

Hi,

Your phone does not support sis files because sis files only work on Symbian powered phones (for example the N95). However, your phone does support Java programs.

dear there is way to install a sis file in NOKIA N73
coz its N-series mobile higher.
you have only install sisx,jad,and jar files
if you want to get some files tel me i will tel you links were you can ezzzely

Recover deleted contacts
You can use a software call FExplorer to retrieve your SMS. Just open it and go to System> Mail. After that use FExplorer`s in-built text viewer to view these deleted SMS. You can also browse through the folders and open all files inside them until you find the lost SMS. Please also note that deleted file are only temporarily stored on your phone and will be permanently deleted as time passes.

  • Launch FExplorer and navigate to C: if you use Phone Memory to store your messages (default) and D: if you use Storage Card as your SMS location.
  • Now navigate to and open "system" folder.
  • Now open the "mail" folder.
  • This folder should contain many folders named similar to 0010001_s etc. with files named similar to 00100000 etc., These files are the actual deleted messages, Simply, use the FExplorer inbuild text viewer to view these files, You will need to browse through every folder and open all files inside them until you get the required SMS.
  • Do Note that this trick does not work on Symbian 3rd Edition cellphones.

    Nokia 2690 memory card password remove
    Hi , Follow the following steps to unlock the memory card
    • To unlock your mobile memory card, you need a file explorer. You may use FExplorer. To download FExplorer, click here to download.
    • After finished downloading, install it to your mobile phone.
    • Insert the mobile memory card into your mobile phone. Remember, don't access the memory card through phone at this moment.
    • Run FExplorer and open the following location C:\system.
    • From the location C:\System, you will see a file named as mmcstore. Rename this file asmmcstore.txt.
    • Copy the file mmcstore.txt. and paste it to your computer. Now, open that file in notepad.
    • When you finished the above steps, you will find the password of that file.
    • With this password u can open ur Memory card

    How to install .sis file in nokia n72 mobile
    You simply can't install .SIS applications in your Nokia N72 mobile.
    You need to have additional softwares to install it.
    You need to install fexplorer(free Beta version) or buy X-Plore or Y-Browser.
    After installation you can install .SIS applications(Symbian Applications) in your mobile.

    Software installation on mobiles
    Hi Salim1307,

    1st make sure you have FExplorer installed on your phone. Generally the all software come in .sis format i.e. the installer files have a .sis extention. If u have a card reader, copy the .sis file/s that you have downloaded from the internet, into your memory card in the E:\Nokia\Installs directory & from there run the .sis file & during installation follow the instructions on screen. Read everything carefully before advancing each step. Also make sure that the software you are installing has come from a genuine source as it can be infected & can cause irreversible damage to your mobile phone.
